Chrysler dismantles the 200 sedan via virtual reality

Remember that "The Way Things Work" book? The way author Neil Ardley would take apart everyday machines piece by piece via David Macauley's artistry and explain just how ... well, things work? In similar fashion, Chrysler is using another art form to dismantle their latest midsize model to explain to its drivers just how it ... well, works. That alternate art form? Virtual reality.

By now, you've probably heard about how the 2015 Chrysler 200 has been fully redesigned from the factory on up. Even the manufacturing equipment used to create this stunning midsize sedan was extensively remodeled, not to mention the fact that the process in which it was assembled was restructured as well. Chrysler has been dying to take its drivers onto the factory floor and prove to them just how involved and innovative their assembling process truly is. Well, they've finally found a way to do so thanks to Oculus Rift technology.
